After working in vinyards around the world Joan Ramón Escoda opened his own winery in 1999 in Catalonia, Tarragona. Started his journey making it natural in 2005.
Els Bassots with 100% of Chenin blanc after destemming, goes trough a 10 day skin maceration. Aged for 6 months is amphora. Intense aromas of ripe fruit and compote with subtle notes of oak and a citrus touch. Round creamy palate with a good fresh acidity.
